Galactic Chemical Evolution Pipeline

Galactic chemical evolution involves nuclear physics, stellar evolution, galaxy evolution, astronomical observations, and cosmology. Within the JINA-CEE and NuGrid collaborations, we are developing a numerical pipeline for creating permanent connections between all those fields to better understand the origin and evolution of the elements.
Project summary
We present our effort to connect nuclear astrophysics with galactic chemical evolution and cosmological structure formation.
About the simulation codes
We used NuPyCEE along with GAMMA, a chemical evolution code able to post-process merger trees extracted from cosmological simulations.
