Probing Nuclear Astrophysics with Galactic Chemical Evolution

Galactic chemical evolution models are perfect tools to probe nuclear astrophysics uncertainties. Here we show how tight chemical evolution predictions are to the choice of input stellar yields.
Project summary
Using a Markov Chain Monte Carlo code and our OMEGA code, we quantify the impact of using different galaxy models to generate chemical evolution predictions.
About the simulation codes
We used OMEGA (part of NuPyCEE) and the emcee Markov Chain Monte Carlo code.
